Time to start outsourcing Cricket

India's recent debacle in Cricket World Cup 2007 has received rave castigation from all corners. More over, the ripple effect of this disaster was observed as far as, in Indian Economy also. Sensex shed close to 200 points following the news. Companies have started reporting losses owing to India's dismal performance(Read Ad revenue losses).
When so much is on stake what can be done now?
Here I have a suggestion for BCCI and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Some economist(I don't remember who) has said that to get maximum benefit each country should do what it does best and outsource rest of the activities to other countries where it can be done cheaply and most effectively.Thats how India has emerged as outsourcing hub in services. Now we have enough of evidence to proof that we r not good in sports. Why not outsource our sports activities to countries like Australia? This will serve two purposes, first we will save a lot of bucks that is being spent on these useless sports activities. Second, we can utilize those cricketers in services outsourcing. Infact we can strike a deal with Australia where we can outsource our cricketing team and they can outsource their IT service requirement.
Now some people would say, how that team represents Indian team with all foreign players? My answer would be look at West Indies team, England team If Indians can play in their team there is no harm foreigners playing for Indian team. And a well known fact is the 11 players represents BCCI which is a private corporation and not INDIA.

Man i think this whole idea of outsourcing cicket is bullshit.Tats not the solution for improving the indian cricket team performance. In a country more than 1 billion ppl u r saying u cant find 11 ppl who play good cricket. No man , the real issue is with selection team and not with our Crickters. After all some of the Legends in Crickets r from India.Selection should be made more transparent and performance based. So everything boils down to one word Corruption.

Hmmm....
I think u took the things a little too seriously :). Anyways i jus tried to say my things logically not emotionally. The context of my post was sarcastic. But having said that i seriously doubt if could ever produce a good team in any sport, let alone cricket. Perceptions differ
