A New day ...........

I need not give explaination for my act of desertion. My last post is a clear testament of raison d'etre. Neverthless, i am glad of being able to post on my blog again.
Life has turned topsy-turvy, has taken 180 degree turn and seems like i am yet to get used to it. Last 3 odd weeks have been unanticipated, serialized chain of events. I came to this unchartered territory(Chennai) with lots of skepticism and apprehension. My immediate concern had been the interaction with the general crowd, but thank god IIT takes care of that by not allowing you enough time to roam around the city and talk to locals. IIT campus itself is so huge and fascinating that one doesn't feel like going out into the city. Add to that, a room on 7th floor of the hostel and the window facing the city, gives you a tremendous sense of empowerment and enjoyment(which i feel all the time). Accompanying us on this wild-forest/institute are Monkies and deers, at times mildly protesting the encroachment of their natural habitat by human-population.
Ours is the only wildlife amidst a city and the only institute amidst a wildlife.
The climate in chennai so-far has been so-good (keeping fingers crossed). For first few days my nose was jammed like clogged roads of any India metro and throat was relinquishing every spit that i was trying to swallow. But i am a pessimist and i know this is the best part.
I have been attending a few very interesting lectures recently and life seems to have entangled in paradoxes. For example
Individual truth, collective false
Individual brilliance, collective stupidity
Excitement of uncertainty, security of certainty
Strength comes from pain
Peace comes from war
Interpretation of these i ll leave to your imagination.

Have faith budy ... Once you are few weeks old in the system, you will learn how to tackle busy-ness u' ll realize ki "kuch nahi ho sakta" ... and then you may venture out !

PS - Belief in "grades to moh maya hai" is of immense help !
